The Forum Time Zone settings, are set to GMT.

Here is a step by step guide to setting your Time Zone within your Profile, to make displayed times the same as your local time.

1. Click on the 'Profile' link in the menu at the top of the Forum. You can also access your Profile from the Portal index page by clicking on 'Personal CP', located on the Personal Menu block.

2. In your Profile area, look in the Modify Profile section and click on the link 'Look and Layout Preferences'.

3. Find where it says 'Time Offset', and in the box on the right of that, enter the number of hours ( + or - ) needed to make the Forum display your local time.
Example 1: If your Time Zone is GMT+10, then type +10 into the box.
Example 2: If your Time Zone is GMT-7, then you would type -7 into the box.
and so on.

NOTE: Click on 'Auto Detect', under the box, it should show you your time different to GMT, if not, then manually type the required number into the box.

4. Then just scroll down and click on 'Change Profile', and you're done.

It should now show your local time whereever you see dates and/or times.

This isnt really a Tech Support question as such, but I just posted a message and noticed the time was in my time July 3rd, 2pm instead of how it usually is, or at least was July 3rd, 12am.

Does the board now change the post times to suit my time zone??
